Comments: The site is looking great, a great introduction to the URC. It's better than I could do for a web page - and I work with computers especially the internet.

Comments: Great Idea of Churches in a district working together. I'm trying to get a web site of the ground for our Church. Any ideas or helpful hints much appreciated.
Also do you have any PILOT companies in your district.
RDcooke2@aol.com is our email name. We attend Buxton Rd URC.

Comments: Just found your site. As a former minister in the District I am pleased to have found it. At present I am in the process of setting up one for the Northern Province, but going rather slowly.
Which server have you used to set up your page? I have tried with Microsoft Word 97, Tripon and Geocities, but each have their idiosincracies (if that's how you spell it!)
Best Wishes
Graham C
ps. My normal email address is gcarling@cix.co.uk, but I have a message on download that is locking up the program, so Yahoo is a fallback. GC

Name: Louise Edge
Comments: I am the founder of Sew Beautiful Cross Stitch Club (Weds night meetings at
All Saints) and I was wondering if any of the children that belong to the
church or the Guides or Scouts (yes, even boys like to sew!) (not sure who to contact for this section) would be
interested in coming along to a Saturday club for cross stitching (pref
beginners), that I am hoping to set up. I feel that Cross Stitch is a dying
breed now a days, and we are trying to revive it. Schools don't seem to
have the time for it anymore. That is why myself, and member Sue Edwards
are doing this voluntarily, who knows it may get our other club new members
in the future!.
I attach an advert, and I would be most grateful if you could pass this on
to the relevant people to drum up some interest.
I can be reached on 0161 374 0064.
Many thanks
Best Regards
Mrs Louise Edge
