WHAT SORT OF CHURCH? We are a BELIEVING CHURCH. We believe in God the Father who made us and loves us, the Son, Jesus Christ who lived and died for us and the Holy Spirit who sustains us. We are a SERVING CHURCH. Believing that God's love should be reflected through us we are committed to serving the local community and the wider world. We support the Manchester and Salford Family Service Unit with our monthly dried goods collection and at other times as specific needs are identified. Overseas mission and aid are supported through the Council for World Mission and, in partnership with Christian Aid, the URC's commitment for Life Programme which aids self-help projects in developing countries. Our buildings are used by many outside organisations and we are always looking for new paths of service. |
WHO'S WHO Minister: Rev David Batchelor Secretary: Mr Edgar Roberts Junior Church Secretary: Mrs Julia Roberts Treasurers: Mr Donald Sutton The Minister and Officers are supported by the Eldership who share responsibility for the pastoral oversight of the Church and for the administration of its activities. |

We are a FAMILY CHURCH. As part of God's world wide family we cater for all age groups in our worship and other activities. Old and young are welcomed in a caring atmosphere. Children participate in Holy Communion from time to time, in monthly all-age worship and they share in the first part of every morning service. Our social activities include youth organisations, bowls and badminton clubs, and a weekly Social Hour with talks, musical and devotional programmes. We have an active Social Committee which organises regular events such as concerts and coffee mornings. We are a FRIENDLY CHURCH. Our aim is to make everyone welcome whether they visit us just once or become regular attenders. We hope that on your first visit you will feel welcome and feel that you are amongst friends. |
SUNDAY WORSHIP 10.45 a.m. - FAMILY WORSHIP Holy Communion is held on the first Sunday morning of each month. A crêche is provided for young children and graded departments for older ones where a lively course of Christian education is followed. Coffee is served after the service to provide an opportunity for further fellowship. |

We are an ECUMENICAL CHURCH. Through Churches Together in Hale we are committed to a partnership of joint worship and action with our Catholic, Anglican and Methodist friends. |
6.30 p.m. - EVENING WORSHIP Holy Communion is held on the third Sunday evening each month. The service also includes prayers for healing and the laying-on of hands. |
